Gaining access to Environmental Stewardship social media accounts:

Each user must review this page, the K College social media policy and fill out the Social Media User Agreement at the bottom of this page.  

Teams Social Media Channel:

All students, faculty or staff who have access to posting on the @envirostewkzoo, @kzooarb or @kgardens Instagram will be added to the appropriate Microsoft Teams Social Media Channel. When a student is no longer responsible for the ESC, Arb or KGardens social media, they will be removed from the channel. The Teams Channel should be used for:  

  • Creating a posting schedule (making sure posts are spread out) 
  • Brainstorming educational posts 
  • Sharing new passwords  

Passwords: Will be changed at least once per term. If you get locked out, reach out to the Teams Channel instead of changing the password on your own.  

Location Tags and Hashtags: If you are creating a post, please tag the location and use the correct hashtags (will be posted in Teams Channel).

Canva: You are welcome to use the Environmental Stewardship Canva account. Password details will be shared in the Teams Channel. Any creations in Canva should be saved in the appropriate folders.

Proof Reading: Static posts (not stories) need to be approved on the Teams Channel. Please proof read before posting for approval. Stories can be shared without prior approval; however, please take the time to make sure information is accurate and know that you are representing both the ESC/Arb/KGardens and K College.
