Dewing 004 common area is a space shared by the Environmental Stewardship Center and the Center for Career and Professional Development. Staff offices include: Keri Bol (CCPD), Alejandro Alaniz (CCPD), Sara Stockwood (ESC) and Amy Newday (ESC).
Dewing004 common area hours:
- M-F 10am-2pm: During academic terms, the common area is used as the Career Studio between 10am-2pm. The entrance from Red Square is unlocked during these hours.
- Most staff work business hours: ~9am-5pm but are not always in their offices
Expectations of the common area:
- Clean up, put furniture back to the original layout
- Wash dishes
- If items need to be left in the office, stack neatly in the ESS corner (by the bookshelf)
During Career Studio time:
- You are welcome to use the common area as a work space!
- If you are having a meeting, please utilize the small conference room (which can and should be reserved ahead of time – all staff members have access to the calendar)
Swipe access:
- You will be given swipe access from 7am-7pm.
- This should allow you access during the day if a staff member isn’t here, early evening and weekends.
- Access to Dewing 004 is intended for work purposes for CES and Composting students.
- As the person with swipe access, you are responsible for what happens in the space, and you must be present while the space is being used.
- Do not swipe non-ESC/Composting students into the space and leave.
- Make sure the main door (to the hallway) is closed and locked before you leave.
